Better Understanding Our Animal Equals

Tip of the Week
Snails aren’t just for eating algae! Freshwater snails make wonderful pets as additions to many aquariums.  But remember, most snails do not thrive on algae and will need their diet supplemented with other goodies!  More info to come when the new Snail Care page is up!

Can’t Beat Variety!

"Breakfast time!”

Finally! Breakfast time. I wonder what I will get today. Used to be, all I got was a bunch of bird seed and the occasional snack on a cracker. Now I get so much variety! I love it. I get these things that Mom and Dad call fruits and veggies! Those are so yummy and they smell so good! I also get these things called nuts and grains.

Hi, my name is Paisley and I am a cockatiel. When I was younger, Mom and Dad used to feed me only seeds but they came to realize that they weren’t very healthy for me and they made me feel fat. Now, after I decided to finally get over my stubborn self and take to getting new foods, I get a huge variety of foods and treats and I am healthier than ever! I love my new diet and couldn’t feel better!
